Tira is a card-game score calculator, private by design.

Private by default

Tira has no accounts, no ads, no cross-app tracking, and no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. When you play on your own, your scores stay on your device and nothing is sent anywhere.

Shared rooms

The shared-room feature is optional. When you use it, the display name you choose and the live scoreboard are relayed through a server (Cloudflare) to the other devices in the same room, in real time, so everyone sees the same scores. We never ask for your real name, contacts, email, or any account.

How long this is kept: room content (the display names and scores inside a room) is deleted when the host ends the room, and automatically within about two hours after everyone has left. To keep the feature working and to prevent abuse, we retain a limited record of recent hosting activity (on the order of a month) that includes an app-generated random identifier (which is not your name, email, or Apple ID) and the codes of rooms you host. Your device's IP address is used only to route the connection and is not stored by us.

Anonymous usage metrics

We record a small amount of aggregate, anonymous information about the shared-room service (for example, that a room was created or joined, and how many devices connected) so we can keep it reliable. These metrics contain no names, no scores, and nothing that identifies you or your device.

Purchases

Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple (the App Store). We never receive or store your payment information.
